Many users, after upgrading to Windows 10, are getting the error from adobe flash player. The error occurs while browsing web pages, which has some flash content embedded on those. What happened is, Microsoft accidentally released the content debugger version of Flash Player in the August Windows update (KB3087916) package. So, even reinstalling flash player won’t fix this issue, as this problem is not from the Adobe side. Thus, the error is similar to as below:

Fix Adobe Flash Player ActionScript Error on Windows 8.1
So, in order to fix this issue, Microsoft has released an update to patch Adobe Flash Player. So, right now, you have two choices:
Solution 1 (Easiest, No Manual Download Required)
- Go to Control Panel
- Open Programs and Features
- Click on Top Left – View Installed Updates
- Now search for string KB3087916 (use the search bar given at top-right), if you find that update, right-click on it and select Uninstall.
So, if the update got installed again, need not worry, as Microsoft has patched the update now.
Solution 2 (Recommended)
Open Windows Update and locate if an update KB3089023 is available to download. If so, install it. This would resolve the issue. If you can’t find the KB3089023 update, then download this update from following locations:

Please Note: KB3089023 for Windows RT 8.1 can only be downloaded from Windows Update.
- So, download and install the respective update for your operating system.
- Reboot the computer.
This would fix the Adobe Flash Player and other minor bugs in your Computer, and you’ll not face ActionScript error again.
